We welcome you to bring your four legged friend to stay, but please note there will be a additional £10.00 for extra cleaning of the room

Hidden Jewel
This hidden jewel in the North Lake District and on the edge of the Cumbrian Fells has recently been taken over by the Whitesmith Family in 2018. Nestled a stone's throw off High Pike in the center of the village we invite you to; pull up a chair and enjoy our deliciously prepared Cumbrian dishes all sourced from the finest local producers, drink from our well stocked bar and enjoy extensive selection of wines, continental beers and sample our refreshing locally brewed Jennings ales.

A great place to stay. The room was warm, cosy and very clean. The bar and restaurant is equally cosy. Food excellent - some traditional dishes with a nice option of asian and Indian fare. Very friendly staff who checked me in early, which I really appreciated. A warm, comfortable and clean room with a very comfy bed. I ate in the pub and the food and service was excellent, with first class beers. A real gem!
